Little Adventures

The Honda Grom is one of the most affordable, smallest street legal, and fun motorcycles I have ever had the pleasure of owning. At 125cc’s and to top speed of 73mph and about 100+ mpg, I want to show that you do not have to have a $20k BMW GS1200 to do extended trips on! This is the start of an all new series on YouTube where I travel all over the USA, Mexico, and Canada on my Grom. I want you show that you do not have to have a $30k to go on some of the wildest adventures!

This February 1st I am going to tour over 23 days ride my Grom with a custom built trailer from Austin Texas, through Mexico to Cancun, Cozumel, to Belize and back!  Doing as many adventures as I can for Zip lining into caves, sky diving, scuba, free-diving, swimming with sharks, jungle tours, Mayan ruins and lots of Tequila! All in all I think the full trip will be about 5-6k miles with an average speed of about 50-65 mph!

Currently the Grom has a dual row 6″ led light bar(hi/low), aftermarket dirt bike bars, levers, Power Commander 5, K&N Air filter, modified stock exhaust. Top speed is 75 mph with no incline and no headwind

For this trip I am custom building my own ultra-lite one wheel trailer thanks to Moto Machines and Snomaster USA.  The trailer will have the 2x 40L Xplorer side cases,  45L top box from Hepco & Becker. Both side boxes have a 2 liter fuel cell on the back of each, Snomaster’s 12 liter console fridge as well as a lock bock to hold my Redverz Atacama tent. Also on the trailer since I am camping I plan on building a solar generator, 100w solar panel, 1 gallon of Motul oil,

While I’m sure there are some less than desirable areas of Mexico where things can be dangerous, especially since I do not speak the language.. It is just too rich in natural wonders and affordable adventures!

Here is the route I am planning on taking
